Cyuko Camera Ichiba literally means Used Camera Market, located in Shinjuku provides many variety of used cameras for you.
I often visit here, not only go to a used camera shop but also have some low-price but nice lunch here. Shinjuku is a place where young people get together, so the price is generally cheap and reasonable.
So you can enjoy both!
The location of Tyuko Camera Ichiba is described as follows; 5 minutes walk from Shinjuku station right exit. There are many train lines. You need to go to west trying to find Big Yodobashi-camera (New camera shop)
After passing the big Yodobashi-camera, you will see this road.
On the right, you will see the noodle restaurant. This is cheap and very delicious! A lot of amounts! I like this.
Left Top, normal one is best for me including noodle, wan-ton…A little big amount!
Going back to the used camera shop. You will find this yellow plate. 2nd floor.
Turn left here.
Then you will see this entrance very soon!
This is a view from the entrance.
You will see many, many used camera. Nikon, Canon, many compact cameras, Olympus, Pentax, Medium Format, etc…
Here are so called “Junk” corner. The junk means broken, or status is bad. This can be used as parts or if you can repair, then you can try it. Price is low like 10US$ to 40US$.
Some nice classical music is played.
Clerk English ability
Clerks here can speak English somehow. However, use plain and slow English to them. Many foreigners come here so they get used to talking with you! Should you have any questions, please provide it by the following comment form.
