Due to the coronavirus issue, Japan post stops or restricted many countries for shipping.
The restriction has been removed for EMS. ePacket, case-by-case.

This is not only driven by the Japan Post but also requests from other countries carriers.

Japan post ships the parcel in the passenger flight cargo bay.

Therefore, if passenger flight does not restart, it is unlikely to restart shipping using the Japan Post.

However, the Japan Post gradually restart shipping to other countries.

Currently, the following countries, but not limited to, shipments are accepted by the Japan Post. However, the delay of the parcel may happen.
Note that shipping to the US is stopped now, except for airmail. The airmail takes about two weeks of deliverly in my experience.
